Coke Friendship Day

03/23/12, Friday.
Nothing ever beats up lasting acquaintanceship when the two of you share the same sparks and juices. Harboring little sentiments through riding each other's joke and giggling in the most silliest things take part in this magnanimously called friendship. Everyone has it. Whoever says a man is an island, not to mention the oceans, doesn't know the planet is composed of seven continents.

Here's one of a kind story that can keep friendship burning alive~ :D

Enjoying life with parties and cocktails all night round aren't actually our thing. But because the long-awaited vacation is approaching and also to freshen up and try something new other than the usual under-the-sun activities brought by the summer heat, I joined my friend Nancy Glazier Torres to attend and see the Coca-Cola's 100th anniversary celebration at the Mall of Asia concert grounds starting 3pm till midnight. It was like a music fest with invited local singers and bands such as Parokya ni Edgar, Gloc9, Sandwich, 6Cyclemind, Sponge Cola, Chicosci, Callalily, Itchyworms etc. and some well-known comedians like Wally and Jose. A day prior to this event I was informed by Nancy who texted me if I wanted to go with her for she got tickets (anyway general admission is free but dunno in the VIP section), so I did.

You know that feeling when you started to acquire that sense of adulthood and independence in yourself because you were freed from being a kid anymore, and that you now have the privilege to begin discovering and picking out real life surprises that await you. There are really precious moments in life that can only be sought by yourself, and no one else. One just have to step out of his timid zone and start exploring the world's gigantic social wonders that still don't get off the limit. To the reason that sometimes, mainly much of the buzz and excitement in life can only be found in the adventurous life of a teenager. ;)

Before time ran out for us to safely arrive back home, we both made the decision to leave the area earlier and instead did a quick stroll around since we haven't gotten ourselves in the mall for a long time ago. Success was the day!

It just felt so good to know that no matter how we both spent the day together, whether we messed up or drove around crazy and lovely things, yet after all it was the bonding experience we enjoyed that gave flicker and glitter the definition of what true friendship is.

A friend is one of the nicest things you can have and one of the best things you can be..
